Wellness Partners

WSKG's Working on Wellness partners have joined us in the effort to address childhood obesity, a sobering national epidemic that unfortunately has not spared the Southern Tier. Health officials are expressing concern with the link between childhood obesity and its relationship to the development of health related diseases, such as diabetes. WSKG and our partners work together to educate and communicate with the public through a variety of activities, including contests (such as the After School Fuel Recipe Contest), in-person events, an original children's television show (Move It!) and more.
