Climate Change

January 12, 2010

Climate change is a complicated topic that touches on nearly every aspect of our lives. A recent poll shows that 61% of Americans believe that the effects of global warming have already begun, but only 38% believe it will pose a serious threat at some point in their lives. Many people are unsure how climate change might affect them on a personal level, while others fear that we've already reached the tipping point and that our way of life is now on the endangered list.

How will climate change affect our region? What steps are some local communities taking to respond to climate change? How will climate affect our national security.
