Dialogue about complex and controversial issues can be a frustrating undertaking. Complicated issues like natural gas drilling or medical research bring out passionate responses from all sides of the issue, and it can be hard to find a deeper understanding of those issues without getting caught up in the emotional storm that can surround them. On this program, we'll talk about why it can be difficult to talk about these issues, and what people can do to better understand and engage in these kinds of discussions.
