The New York Times holds a special place in both New York's everyday life and the flow of information nationally and worldwide.  But even the "good gray Times" is suffering from changes in media.  The crises and turmoil at the Times was carefully observed by Cornell English professor Daniel R. Schwarz and he writes about it in "End Times?"  He joins Bill Jaker to examine the outlook for "the newspaper of record".   Be part of the conversation with your e-mail and phone call during the 1pm live broadcast, or listen in at 7pm for the rebroadcast of the afternoon's show.
