Governor Cuomo spent the day Wednesday traveling to Syracuse & Buffalo to introduce a plan that would create a tax-free zone around the state’s universities and community colleges.  He joins us today to explain how the plan will work, and respond to union criticism.

The head of the Tompkins County Board of Supervisors, Martha Robertson is running for Congress.  Last week she received an endorsement from Emily’s List. 

Financial expert Deborah Rogers will be here to discuss research the indicates “the long-term benefits of  fracking may be illusory and more similar to the housing bubble bust than  the economic silver bullet promised by the gas industry.” Rogers is a former investment banker; financial consultant  for Wall Street firms including Merrill Lynch and Smith  Barney, and she served on the Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of  Dallas from 2008-2011.
