The Governor and legislative leaders came to an agreement on the budget on Wednesday evening.  Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb weighs in on the spending plan’s pros and cons from his perspective.

Dryden Town Supervisor Mary Ann Sumner and attorney Deborah Goldberg of Earthjustice discuss oral arguments in the precedent-setting case of Norse v. Dryden which are scheduled for today in a mid-level appellate court.

As lawmakers continue to discuss restorations in the budget for people with developmental disabilities, Albany Law School’s Government Law Center and Civil Rights and Disabilities Law Clinic will commemorate the 40th anniversary of Willowbrook.   On Friday, state officials, attorneys, advocates, and provider agency executives will examine the history and impact of the case at Albany Law School. Today on the radio, we will be joined by Professor Bridgit Burke as well as the two event co-chairs, Patricia Martinelli and Paul Kietzman.
