The 23rd annual broadcast of the National Memorial Day Concert airs live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol before a concert audience of hundreds of thousands, millions more at home, and to our troops around the world on the American Forces Network. Tune in to WSKG TV on May 27th at 8:00pm (rebroadcast at 9:30pm).
Goat Rodeo Live brings together the artistry of four string virtuosos: renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bluegrass fiddler Stuart Duncan, bassist Edgar Meyer and mandolin wizard Chris Thile. While each artist is a prominent figure in his own musical sphere, all four have come together for their first concert to create what critics are now hailing “a most remarkable and organic cross-genre project in which the fire and drive of the bluegrass world meet the clarity and class of the classical music world.” Marvel at the quartet on May 25th at 9:00pm on WSKG TV.
Catch Season 5 of Doc Martin on WSKG TV starting May 12th at 9:00pm. The story picks up after the birth of Martin and Louisa's son. Will Martin return to his post as Portwenn's GP? Will fatherhood help the Doc to mellow?
In the past 3 decades, there has been a 300% increase in the rate of children who are overweight or obese. The Parents’ Survival Guide: Childhood Obesity is a one-hour show addressing prevention and cure of a growing pediatric health problem. See the show May 24th at 10:00pm on WSKG TV.
Have an appraisal-worthy item? Submit your item to the Antiques-style Roadshow at the Phelps Mansion Museum in Binghamton, New York! On May 10th, WSKG will be on hand for an evening of appraisals, free refreshments and fun.
