Come learn about past and potential disasters in New York State on Saturday, March 1st from 9 am – 4 pm on the SUNY Cortland campus.
This workshop is presented by the Science Teachers Associaton of New York State Earth Science SAR, Tim Conner.
Join us for a full day of excellent speakers, lunch and receive a commemorative t-shirt. Speakers will include experts from New York who are Biologists, Geologists, Climatologists, Physicists and Meteorologists discussing Invasive Species, Landslides, Extraterrestrial Impacts, Climate Change, Nuclear Accidents and Hazardous Weather. Learn how to incorporate media into your classroom using PBS Learning Media with highlights from WSKG original documentary, Agnes the Flood of '72.
