Third U.S. doctor with Ebola lands in Nebraska

A third American doctor diagnosed with the Ebola virus, Rick Sacra, arrived in Omaha, Nebraska for treatment Friday.

He became infected in Liberia, where he had been working since August. Sacra, who is from the Boston area, was serving with the North Carolina-based charity SIM.

Sacra will be taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, said center spokeswoman Jenny Nowatzke.

His care team reportedly is discussing using experimental treatments, such as blood serum from a patient who has recovered from Ebola.
