WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) — A firearms manufacturer says it's moving its corporate offices out of New York partly because of the state's strict new gun control law.
Kahr Firearms Group of Pearl River is the first gunmaker in the state to blame the law for its departure. The spokesman said Kahr will move its 10-person corporate staff to Pike County, Pennsylvania, next year. He says the company also expects to build a new factory there with 80 to 100 jobs within five years.
