
Senator Charles Schumer is continuing his efforts to land a chip fabrication plant in central New York. On Monday he visited a potential site, just north of Syracuse, with the CEO of chipmaker “APIC”.
"The nano-tech industry has already taken off and gained speed in the capital region creating thousands of job. The industry is growing so fast it's like a runaway freight train and we're here to say we want that train to stop in Syracuse."
