A new poll from the Siena Research Institute finds that Governor Andrew Cuomo continues to hold a large lead over Republican challenger Rob Astorino.
Cuomo’s 37-point lead is about the same size as when the race for governor began. 60 percent of those polled say New York is in better shape than it was four years ago.
Cuomo’s popularity doesn’t extend to the rest of Albany. Two-thirds of those polled said they are never surprised when another lawmaker is indicted.
