Today is the first day of an incubator program taking place in Syracuse this summer for budding tech companies.The nine teams will have 100 days to get as much advice and help as they can.
They were picked by local entrepreneurs Chuck Stormon and Nasir Ali out of a few hundred applicants.
Stormon says they'll be given seed money, work space and access to mentors in return for a small stake in the company."A big part of the philosophy of this is actually being able to a write a check and take some risk, to bet on an early stage company; that we may lose that $18,000 investment. That's part of the game."
