Gillibrand: Case Against Kavanaugh Might Not Be Over

ROCHESTER, NY (WXXI) - New York's two U-S senators voted against the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court justice Saturday.

Democrats Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand had been critical of Kavanaugh during the confirmation process. During a quick visit to Albany prior to the Senate vote, Gillibrand said the investigation into allegations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh was incomplete.

"I think that many people may still want to know more facts because there are so many witnesses who wanted to testify. And so, if we do have the opportunity to have a different House leadership or a different Senate leadership, I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least some investigations."

Gillibrand said Kavanaugh does not have the "disposition" and "honesty" to serve as a Supreme Court justice.
