Elmira Ghost Walk 2023 Oct. 13, 14, 15

Join us for an unforgettable experience at the 17th annual Elmira Ghost Walk. The event begins with eight evening tours Friday, October 13th and eight evening tours Saturday, October 14th (6:30, 6:45, 7:00, 7:15, 7:35, 7:50, 8:10, 8:25 both evenings)

On Sunday, October 15th, (4:00, 4:20, 4:40, 5:00) there will be five afternoon tours including our special VIP tour. Tickets are required so book yours early and get ready to hear this year's stories by characters from Woodlawn Cemetery's history.

Friday and Saturday, we will gather at the Chemung Valley History Museum at 415 East Water Street in Elmira, to board buses to the cemetery. Check in at the front desk to receive your bus ticket. While waiting for your tour, you may wander through the galleries, read stories of past ghosts, and try your luck at local trivia. At the cemetery, you will be greeted by Friends of Woodlawn guides who will lead you along the wooded pathways to hear Elmira Little Theatre actors share history and stories about the lives of this year's ghosts before returning you by bus to the museum.

Sunday (only) we will gather at Woodlawn Cemetery’s main gate located at 1200 Walnut Street, Elmira. Park your cars OUTSIDE the gate and check in at the red tent to meet your guide.

Reservations and prepaid tickets are required to attend any Elmira Ghost Walk tour. There are no refunds and the event will happen rain or shine. Guests must ride the hired buses for Friday and Saturday tours. All Sunday tours meet at the cemetery. No pets permitted.
