BBC Writers Room | Radio plays are alive and well on the BBC.  The online tools found in 'Scriptwriting Essentials' are a great place to start for the novice dramatist!  We recommend this downloadable PDF template to use as a guide for your script! Radio Drama Revival | This is a go-to source to listen to radio dramas and also includes a five-step 'how to' section for those interested in creating their own production. Reality of Digital Drama | Students discuss their impressions of of real-life peer drama, both online and as depicted on reality TV. This resource comes from Common Sense Media and is helpful if your group if choosing to write a story about challenging social situations amongst teens. Royalty Free Music | A website featuring royalty-free music, stock photos, clip art, video footage, and more. Soungle | Searchable database of sounds, no attribution necessary. The Moth | Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide.  Moth shows are renowned for the great range of human experience they showcase. Each show starts with a theme, and the storytellers explore it, often in unexpected ways. This American Life | This weekly public radio show is broadcast on more than 500 stations to about 2.2 million listeners. It has won all of the major broadcasting award is also often the most popular podcast in the country, with another 2 million people downloading each episode.  This is a great place to start your listening adventures if you are new to radio drama. Youth Media Reporter | An open access, peer-reviewed professional journal for scholars, practitioners and others who develop, organize, teach, study and support youth media practices and programs.
