Binghamton’s first public workshop about the Clinton Street Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) will take place Wednesday.
The workshop is open to the public.
Binghamton residents can learn about plans to revitalize Clinton Street on Wednesday evening. Participants can also share their ideas about how to improve the First Ward corridor.
An announcement from the mayor’s office said business owners, nonprofit organizations, community members and property owners can get details about how to apply for project funding. Applications are not open yet.
The workshop will be at the First Ward Senior Center on Clinton Street at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The DRI’s Local Planning Commission will hold their meeting in the senior center at 3 p.m., before the workshop.
The city was awarded a $10 million state grant for the project this past February.
