Autumn Sun reaches deep into the heart…original songs with substance and story…classic folk songs given new life and made fresh with harmony and haunting bold new instrumentation.

Band members include:

Sue Horowitz- lead vocals/guitar

Susan Murphy- keyboards/whistles/uilleann pipes/wind instruments

Margaret Ball-Lumumba- fiddle/trombone

Joseph Rayle-bass

Curtis Kretz- drums/percussion

Our song writers are award winning, folk music chart topping! Susan Murphy was an award winning composer lyricist out of the NYC theatre/cabaret scene. Our lead singer, Sue Horowitz, also an award winning writer, and a nationally touring folk artist. Collectively (with former groups), we have numerous performances at Lincoln Center, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival, Hudson River Revival Clearwater Festival, and Falcon Ridge, to name just a few.

In this new group, we have combined writing forces.....we add drums, bass, fiddle, keyboard, guitar, Celtic whistles, trombone and uilleann pipes and we have a SUPER multi-instrumental fresh new Americana group ready to break out.
