Riverow Bookshop will be hosting a book signing, conversation, and Q&A of the memoir “Where the Valley Widens: A Teacher’s Journey Through the Ages” by local author and Owego Free Academy Band Director Lindsey Williams, on Friday, August 1st from 5-7pm. The book is an “inspirational testament to the power of teaching.” Inspired by hardship, Williams wrote the book hoping to help people struggling through things to “find a way to keep going and discover the things they are looking for in life.” Copies are available at the signing, but you can call to reserve your own ahead of time.
