Cliff Eberhardt with Special Guest Louise Mosrie Coombe
Cliff Eberhardt knew by age seven that he was going to be a singer and songwriter. His soulful voice and song writing were among the reasons he was named one of the top 100 Folk Artists of the past 20 years. In another age, he would have found his niche on Tin Pan Alley or writing for Broadway shows. A driving force of the Greenwich Village New Folk movement, his songs have been covered by Richie Havens, Buffy St. Marie, and Cry, Cry, Cry. His songs display the highest level of craftsmanship, his guitar playing is superb and his singing deeply emotional.
Louise Mosrie Coombe started her music career in East Tennessee. As a songwriter, with a lyrical sense that is intensely personal yet not cloyingly so, she has slowly built recognition as a new, vibrant voice of Southern folk and Americana with her soulful Southern folk. She has taken top honors at the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and her recording “Home” was #1 on the Folk DJ charts.
