This event will begin with a screening of the documentary Sustainable. Sustainable is a vital investigation of the economic and environmental instability of America's food system, from the agricultural issues we face - soil loss, water depletion, climate change, pesticide use - to the community of leaders who are determined to fix it. After the screening we will have a panel discussion to discuss the policy and practice of a climate resilient upstate New York agricultural system. The discussion will be moderated by Pamela Mischen, Chief Sustainability Officer of Binghamton University. The discussion speakers will be Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo and Sean Cummings from Cornell Cooperative Extension.
