Symphonic March Madness presented by Auburn Chamber Orchestra
“Symphonic March Madness” by the Auburn Chamber Orchestra (ACO) will be presented on Sunday, May 4th at The REV/Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, 6877 East Lake Road, Auburn, NY, 13021.
This concert, conducted by Dr. Victor Vallo, Jr., will feature some of the great symphonic marches from the classical music repertoire to include: Berlioz: March to the Scaffold from
"Symphonie Fantastique", Saint-Saens: Marche Militaire Francaise, Mendelssohn: Wedding March from "Midsummer's Night Dream", Tchaikovsky: Marche Slav, Purcell: Prince of Denmark's March, Wagner: Grand March from "Tannhauser", and Verdi: Triumphal March from "Aida”.
The Auburn Chamber Orchestra is in its 38th concert season. The orchestra musicians come from a wide range of age groups, communities and professions.
