Binghamton Mayor's Quarantine Ends

BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) — Binghamton Mayor Rich David tweeted Monday he was out of quarantine and back at City Hall.

Mayor David said the Broome County Health Department ended his isolation. His tweet comes less than two weeks since he first announced a positive test result for the novel coronavirus.

David also tweeted his thanks to well-wishers, City Hall department heads, and to Auburn Community Hospital, where, he said, he went for a precautionary overnight stay. He urged people to "listen to experts, follow the rules" with masking and social distancing.
