Ana María Archila dismissed Antonio Delgado’s union endorsements.

Delgado had been running for re-election against Republican Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.

“I never in a million years would have imagined I would be standing here as the lt. governor of the state of New York. But God has bigger plans for me.”

Politically, he has made a project of attempting to bridge the increasing conservatism of de-industrialized, once-Democratic-voting areas with his own brand of progressive politics.
