A Hilarious Satire of Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z Comes to the Cider Mill Stage

Endicott, NY – June 2025 — This June, BLAST Bold Local Artists of the Southern Tier
invites you to laugh, cringe, and maybe even relate a little too much with Generations, a sharp
and spirited comedy by local playwright Carson McKenna, directed by Nathan Butler. The
production runs for one weekend only, June 20 through 22 at the Cider Mill Stage.

Part roast, part toast, Generations is a hilarious and heartfelt satire exploring four generations
(plus a bonus millennial) all trying to coexist in one increasingly chaotic workplace: a family-run
dental office.

Meet Dr. Bob (Rick Barton), a proud Boomer and stubborn dentist who has run his practice for
over 30 years and refuses to change a thing. His son Miller (Adam Ford), a therapy-going,
avocado-toast-eating millennial, is ready to take over the business if only his dad would retire.

Stuck in the middle is Missy (Stefanie Willette), Miller’s dental assistant and secret romantic
partner. At the front desk are two very different receptionists: Gen Z newcomer Genevieve
Zodokoff (Jessica McManamon), who may quit at any moment to focus on her OnlyFans, and
Gen X traditionalist Jennifer Xlander (April Holgate), who is still rocking shoulder pads and
won’t let go of the office fax machine.

Generational clashes erupt over everything from sexual harassment policies to patient care to
how often one should actually floss. And just when it seems like these characters might never
see eye to eye, a shocking revelation sheds new light on the deeper forces keeping them stuck
in their ways.

Also featuring Hudson Webb as Ruth, C. Alexander Park as Mark, and Joe Borrelli as
Grandpa and Mr. Dvorsky.

Generation runs for one weekend only June 20 through June 22. Friday and Saturday
performances at 7:30PM and Sunday performance 2:30PM.
