Brio Vocal Ensemble invites you to a concert featuring A Few of Our Favorite Things. Brio members personally selected some of their very favorite pieces, creating a varied and exciting program for your enjoyment! With music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras, to spirituals, Broadway musicals and contemporary sacred compositions, we are sure you will hear some of your favorite things! Composers include Buxtehude, Billings, Vivaldi, Gibbons, C.P.E. Bach, Liszt, and Schumann, as well as Tom Fettke, Elaine Hagenberg, Stephen Paulus and Craig Courtney. Under the direction of founder Craig Johnson and accompanied by pianist Carolyn Corse, Brio’s 11-voice ensemble will be joined by special guest performers cellist/vocalist Will Hayes, soprano Cathy Lyons, flutist Wendy Stafford; recorder/violin duo Lana Ogden and Margaret Davis, and members of Craig Johnson’s music studio.
