SHINING NIGHTS
Taking its title from the poem Sure on This Shining Night by James Agee, set to music by Morten Lauridsen, this concert explores imagery depicting the night sky in all seasons. It will feature both classic and modern composers, from a Shape Note tune to the work of Caroline Shaw (youngest Pulitzer prize winning composer).

Cayuga Vocal Ensemble presents its December concert on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4pm at St Catherine’s of Siena Church - 309 Siena Drive, Ithaca NY.

Under the direction of Sean Linfors and accompanied by Nathaniel Worrell, this concert will include works by Brahms, Larsen, Lauridsen, Hailstork, Trumbore, and more.
