Kuro Winds is an Ithaca-based group of freelance and orchestral musicians who gather regularly to make chamber music. Programs include an entertaining and accessible variety of styles from classical to contemporary repertoire.
Performing short pieces by Shostakovich (Waltz); Prokofiev (Summer Day); Gould (Pavanne); Agay (Five Easy Dances); and the Roaring Fork Woodwind Quintet by Eric Ewazen.
