Dig out those precious broken items that need fixing. Save yourself the cost of replacing them. Save the landfill space by repairing and continuing to use them. Add to your own power when you learn to fix things.

This is a free event. Volunteer community members with repair skills will gather at Neptune Fire Hall in Dryden. Problem with your bicycle? We have people who know about bikes. Is your child’s stuffed toy losing its stuffing? Perhaps your favorite pair of pants needs some mending. We will have someone with a sewing machine and someone with needle and threads to do hand repairs.

Do you want to download an app to your device but can’t quite figure out how? We will have someone well-versed in setting up software to help you. And that lamp or toaster that doesn’t work well anymore? We have someone who knows how to trouble-shoot electrical issues and fix most small-appliance problems.
