The Broome County Historical Society presents "Sherman Phelps, Phelps Mansion, and Women of the Phelps" by Joe Schuerch, Museum Educator at Phelps Mansion Museum. Schuerch will discuss how this historic house continues to tell the story of its former residents: the Phelps family, George Henry Lester, the Trumans, and its longest caretakers - the Monday Afternoon Club. After he shares 154 years of history of this last home on what was once referred to as "mansion row," attendees will be invited to view an exhibit that will showcase items from the Monday Afternoon Club and more of the home's history.
