"The 125th Anniversary of the Goodwill Theatre and the Formation of Johnson City"
The Goodwill Theatre was the heart of what became the town of Lestershire and later Johnson City. Indeed, the building was the Municipal Building for the area, housing fire wagons and horses on the first floor, the Mayor's Office and courtroom of the second, and the village offices and even bowling lanes in the basement. Naima Kradjian, CEO of the Goodwill Theatre, Inc., has spent over 20 years restoring the theatre to make Johnson City a theatre destination while improving the performing arts in the greater Binghamton area.
