Walk the Labyrinth - a reflective approach to the New Year
Walk the Labyrinth - a reflective approach to the New Year
The community is invited to come Walk the Labyrinth in this age-old spiritual practice of quiet reflection. Calm your body, mind, and spirit as you walk the Labyrinth. This circular labyrinth, modeled on the one set into the floor of the Chartres Cathedral in France (1194-1220 A.D.), will be open to people of all ages and faiths, and is handicapped accessible. This is an indoor 40ft across labyrinth that is 1/3 of a mile walk inward and then another 1/3 back out. It is walked in candlelight with a background of meditative music. Walking a labyrinth is a form of body meditation that can serve to quiet, restore, and center oneself. All are welcome!
