Grayden Everson's story Spoon and Knife Adventure won 1st place for Kindergarten in WSKG's local 2016 PBS KIDS Writers Contest. Grayden is 6 years old and the youngest in his family. He likes pizza, Uno, Legos, Minecraft, art, math, and Elephant and Piggie books. He took a few minutes to answer a few questions we had about his experience:
Will Knife and Spoon have any more adventures together soon? Yes, they will have more adventures, they might explore the woods soon.
Thank you for sharing this story with WSKG! How did you hear about the Contest? My older brothers have been entering for a few years, so I was excited to be able to enter this year too.
Which part did you enjoy most -- writing the story or making drawings that accompanied the plot? I liked making the drawings the best.
