We have big decisions to make about who should represent us in Congress. Sometimes, it feels like all we see are negative campaign ads - photos of one candidate or another in greyscale. Phrases like, “Bad for New York”. Linking them with some very loaded national figure. We wanted to cut through all of that and just talk one-on-one with each of the candidates and get to hear them flesh out what they plan to do for the Southern Tier.
In this show, we're trying to get a better idea of what each candidate in NY-22 plans to do to address some of the most important issues to residents: the persistence of meth and the opioid crisis; the struggling dairy industry; and how they can encourage civility in politics and public life.
