BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) - Chenango County has a confirmed case of COVID-19. That’s according to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office.
As of Wednesday evening, Delaware, Broome and Tioga Counties each have a confirmed case, as well. According to the Tompkins County Health Department, the number of positive cases there has doubled from three to six.
Thousands of positive tests are confirmed across New York as more and more samples get tested.
In Pennsylvania, Wayne County has a confirmed case, with about 130 across the state. The first state resident to die of the COVID-19 was announced on Wednesday.
