When you look at just the opinions of parents who have children in kindergarten through high school, they are more closely divided.

Meanwhile, Republicans in the state legislature say they want lawmakers to rescind a new mask mandate imposed by Cuomo on young children at day care centers.

The governor says it’s still OK to continue to wear a mask, if you feel more comfortable doing so.

"We are entering a critical time with a recent uptick in cases of COVID-19."
