This Stained Dawn (“Dagh Dagh Ujala” in Urdu) is a set of monologues presenting the stories of witnesses to the 1947 partition of Pakistan from India. Ithaca professor Kathleen Mulligan created this theatrical work in an international project, originally presented in Urdu in Pakistan.
