Brahms 'A German Requiem' at Cornell

The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra is joined by the Cornell Glee Club and Chorus, soprano Tamara Acosta, and baritone Sidney Outlaw for a performance of Johannes Brahms' 'A German Requiem'. Conductor Cornelia Laemmli Orth joins us to talk about the circumstance that led Brahms to write this beloved work, and how different it is from any other Requiem.
