Morris dancing is an old English country tradition. Its origins have been forgotten, but there are references to morris dancing from the 15th century. The dances that we perform come from the rural villages near Oxford, England.
On Saturday June 15th we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our founding and will appear at several locations in the Binghamton area:
Saturday, May 15.
9:30 AM Broome County Farmers’ Market, 840 Front Street
10:30 AM Elizabeth Church Manor (in the outdoor courtyard, weather permitting)
3:00 PM Recreation Park, near the band shell
4:30 PM New Leaf Cider Company, 800 Nolan Road, Port Crane
5:15 PM Chenango Valley State Park, beach parking lot #1
