Binghamton University is offering summer programming for kids, teens and adults who stutter. Camp Dream. Speak. Live. is an intensive treatment program for children ages 5 to 15 developed by the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research. Binghamton University will offer the one-week summer camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7-11 at the University’s Division of Speech and Language Pathology, 10 University Dr., Johnson City, N.Y.
This program aims to increase the children’s communication competence, improve their feelings about their communication abilities, lessen the influence of stuttering on their overall quality of life, boost their positive perception of establishing peer-to-peer relationships and enhance their leadership skills
