Students at Chenango Valley High School have planned a fundraiser to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital. This project is part of the Math 9 curriculum and has provided students the opportunity to authentically apply mathematics skills while engaged in meaningful civic experiential learning.
The walk-a-thon will take place on an accessible track and is open to people of all ability levels (The full walk is approximately 2 miles). Come out and support St. Jude Hospital where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food so they can focus on helping their child live. Your participation will also support the civics Capstone project for students in Math 9. The walk will be followed by refreshments and activities.
