The appearance of delicate green shoots and warmer days means the Spring Book Sale is approaching. We are busy organizing thousands of titles for your book buying joy. History, romance, travel, cooking, mystery…no matter what your preference, you are bound to find something incredible.
Ulysses Philomathic Library’s Spring Book Sale will take place May 1st through the 4th at the library, located at 74 E. Main St. in Trumansburg.
Please make note of our following sale times:
Thursday, May 1st 8:30am - 6:30pm All are welcome. TCSD classes are invited to attend. Students receive a free book
Friday May 2nd from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.All are welcome. TCSD classes are invited to attend. Students receive a free book
Saturday, May 3rd 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Name-Your-Price-Day
Sunday, May 4th hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Name-Your-Price-Day
****Please note that book sellers with scanners will not be allowed until Saturday and Sunday, and should be prepared with payment and your own boxes and bags.
Families this is an amazing opportunity to stock your home with books for your young readers. Reading at home with your children is one of the very best ways to lock in children’s literacy skills. Reading is magic for young minds!
Are you looking to clean off your bookshelves to make way for new titles? Ulysses Philomathic Library trustees are gladly accepting donations for the fall sale through April 12th. We are especially appreciative of children's picture and chapter books and YA titles, both fiction and nonfiction.
