“The Apple Cow Lips Theater” will present The Harvest Punch Festival at Littletree Orchards! The host of the Festival, The Apple Cow Lips Theater is a small puppet and clown theater company based in Ithaca that performs inspiring and experimental family friendly shows that was started in 2023. During The Harvest Punch Festival the audience will be guided through the beautiful orchards at Littletree to watch a series of performances by diverse artists from puppetry, theater, circus, and clown. The featured artists are: Amy Trompetter’s Redwing Blackbird Theater (Rosendale, NY), Lily Pad Puppet Theater (Ithaca, NY), Fern Circus (Ithaca, NY), The Buoyant Heart Collective (Brattleboro, VT), and the Apple Cow Lips Company (Ithaca, NY). Each performance will be 20-30 minutes long and performed once, audience members are going to be led by ushers and encouraged to see all of the performances to experience the full theatrical tapestry. Following the performances in the orchard there will be musical performances in the barn. The Harvest Punch festival will also coincide with the opening of Littletree Orchards’ U Pick season, and there will be cider and donuts available for sale at the barn, as we celebrate this year's apple harvest after the catastrophic crop loss during the 2023 season caused by devastating weather conditions. The fee for the entrance to the festival is “pay what you can, no one turned away for lack of funds”, and there will be a tractor wagon transporting audience members to the performances for those with mobility issues. The Apple Cow Lips Theater hopes to see you this September at Littletree Orchards for the Harvest Punch Festival to experience the beauty of art in the beauty of nature!
