The Corning-Painted Post school board voted to approve a more than $139 million budget proposal for the next school year. It includes a more than 1% increase to the tax levy. Voters can approve or reject the proposal in May.
“I think the real key is are those properties being utilized? Or are they adding to the overall vacancy or deterioration?” said Amy Little, owner of Cayuga Appraisals, a real estate appraisal company.
