A Musical Voyage of Discovery Down the Danube

The Binghamton Community Orchestra presents 'Danubian Delights'.  Conductor Timothy Perry and soloist John Covelli join us to talk about the concert featuring music by Bela Bartok, Antonin Dvorak, and Ernst von Dohnanyi.  The Dohnanyi piece, with the innocuous title of 'Variations on a Nursery Rhyme' holds lots of delights, challenges, and one big mystery: Why was it written and what is the meaning behind all of the references to other musical works?
