The Vestal Museum will be exhibiting NYS Governor's Election Buttons from 1898 until Today. This vast collection belongs to retired educator and local community leader/volunteer, Michon Stuart. The Vestal Museum will host an Opening Reception August 28th from 1-3pm and a brief lecture/tour of the collection on October 4th from 1- 2pm. Admission is always free. We are open year round Wednesdays from 9-1, Thursdays 5-9pm, Saturdays 9 - 3 and Sundays 12 - 4.
Tioga Arts Council (TAC), in partnership with Cloud Croft Studios (CCS), is excited to announce its ninth juried regional art exhibition, Everyday Life, Every Day Art (ELEDA). It will feature work from artists within a 100-mile radius of Owego, encompassing 25 counties in New York and Pennsylvania. Join us as Payton takes us on a hilarious journey through the many snubs, knockbacks, and cold shoulders that have greeted her in her redacted years on this planet.Developed with CRT favorite Chris “Red” Blisset (who is also featured in the show!), Payton will bare many of her “thank you, next” moments—and possibly some of yours! Featuring songs written by Matt Uremovich, Amanda Ryan Paige, Payton, and Red, the evening will be personal, timely, and fun. Through stories and songs—both silly and touching—Payton takes us on an odyssey that may eventually feel like your own… sort of.
