Produced by local filmmaker Tim O’Hearn, who also wrote and acted in the film. Showdown In Yesteryear tells the story of Daryl, a down-on-his-luck wannabe cowboy who stumbles upon and enters a mysterious old door, and unintentionally sends himself to the old west finding himself on the adventure of a lifetime, fighting outlaws, finding love, and learning where he truly belongs.

The film stars veteran actor Vernon Wells who played “Wez” in The Road Warrior and “Bennett” in Commando opposite Arnold Swarzenegger.

Showdown In Yesteryear won 22 Film Festival awards including, Best Feature, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Stunts, and Audience Choice Award just to name a few.

The title song “Showdown” was written and recorded by local Outlaw Country Sensation Tim Ruffo.
