Puppet Show and Workshop with Lily Gershon at Old Home Days Festival!
Lily Gershon of Lily Silly Puppets, a puppeteer, singer, producer, and puppet maker will perform “Aunt Irene’s Variety Show,” an interactive puppet show filled with music and fantastic variety acts, followed by a puppet-making workshop on July 28 at Newfield Central School grounds. Attendees see a singing sloth, the mysterious Linked Lizard, the Opera Cat, and Wanda the Wizard and enjoy live music by classically-trained guitarist Matthew Ocone. The show is followed by a puppet-making workshop where children make their own original work-of-art hand puppet, learn some basic puppet movements, and try their acting skills in the puppet theater!
