In Major League Baseball (MLB), the National League (NL) has been around since 1876. The Modern Era of baseball began in 1901 when the rival American League (NL) formed in 1901. It was only natural then, for there to be a “world championship” contest between the two leagues
Baseball’s World Series is the pinnacle for the two top teams in each league that successfully fought off all other contenders over a long, hot summer of day-by-day contests. Because the series is played in the autumn season in North America, it is often referred to as the “Fall Classic.”
The event is Free and open to the public!
