This is Rotary’s 4th annual duck race with the proceeds this year funding the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts. No more than 1500 ducks enter Frontenac Creek at the Farmer’s Market bridge on Rte 227 starting at 1pm and float down the creek behind Atlas Bowling and cross the finish line at the Rte 96 bridge near Gimme Coffee. First place prize is $250, second place $150 and third place $50. We will have a ukelele player leading a “rubber duckie we love you” singalong and this is a fun family event which deliberately coincides with the annual village wide yard sale -so you have two good reasons to visit Tburg that Saturday -See you there!
